Water Heater

Tankless Water Heaters
Tankless Water Heaters

Tankless water heaters, as the name implies, operate without a traditional hot water tank. No tank is required in the basement, as the heating element is directly connected to the plumbing system. When a member of your household turns on a hot water faucet, you will receive hot water until you no longer require it. Due to this feature, tankless systems are also referred to as on-demand water heaters. Individual faucets receive hot water as needed, creating a much more pleasant environment for residents.

There Will Be No More Waiting for Hot Water

There is a reason that tankless water heaters are occasionally referred to as instant hot water heaters. That is because you receive the hot water you require when you require it! With a tankless, or point-of-use, water heater, multiple people can shower simultaneously while another is washing dishes and another is doing laundry in hot water. Tankless systems also save you time in your morning and evening routines by eliminating the need to wait for hot water!

There are several different styles of tankless water heaters available to meet your hot water needs:

• Single point of use – instantaneous water heater for a single fixture.

• Dual point of use – on-demand water heater for simultaneous service of two sources.

• Thermostatically controlled – for long pipe runs or applications requiring precise temperature control.

• Areas with a high flow rate – condos, apartments, large bathrooms, etc.

• Whole-house indoor or outdoor system – for situations requiring multiple points of use.

Based on typical flow rates of fixtures (faucets, shower heads, etc.) and your plumbing configurations, MB Plumbing can calculate the highest demand for hot water in your home as well as the way your family uses water in your home. Tankless water heaters are designed to produce a certain amount of heated water (in degrees) to meet a specific flow rate (in gallons per minute). MB Plumbing can provide you with the perfect tankless water heater for your family's needs.
